Slate Splitting Chisels
These thin, long-bladed chisels are specially designed for splitting slate into roofing shingles and tiles. I began making these chisels for local slate quarrying companies in 2021, and now I am able to ship them worldwide.
These chisels are all hand-forged and hand-finished from S7 tool steel. They are approximately 9 inches long with blades 2 1/4 inches wide. Exact dimensions vary slightly, as they are entirely hand-made.
For quantities over 8 chisels, the price is $65 per chisel. Please contact me to place a bulk or international order.
