Blacksmithing Demonstration
Slate Valley Museum, Granville, NY
Come spend a day at the Slate Valley Museum in Granville, NY learning about the traditional role of the blacksmith in the local slate quarries. Talk at 10,  forging demonstration to follow.

Friday, October 3 - Sunday, October 5
Ashokan Sword Seminar
Ashokan Center, Olive Bridge, NY
Only happens once every 5 years! The Ashokan sword seminar is a conference specifically focused on the history, manufacture, and use of swords. This year's conference will focus on styles of embellishment used in sword-making, and I will be demonstrating Koftgari overlay.
